Quick Mini-Review of The Cover-Up

Well, I’ve had AP exams for the past week, so I haven’t had too much time to blog…But I really LOVED this episode. Great JAM interaction and obviously awesome Michael’s hopeless romanticism. Only criticism is that I want to see Michael find a LEGITIMATE relationship. Honestly, he’s getting pretty old, and kind of needs to find someone. Nostalgic…

I’ve been re-watching old Office episodes and just realized how incredible this show is…I can still watch Season 5 episodes that I’ve seen a hundred times and find the jokes hilarious. I’m going to start doing The Office Quote of the Day. Today’s quote is:

“Wanna see some real high quality acting? Well Mr. Kurt Russell, you are about to be served.” – Michael (Framing Toby)

Body Language (Ep. 22 – 4/29/10)

Well, good way to welcome The Office back from it’s little 2-week vacation. Anyway, here is my Recap/Review of this week’s episode.

Recap –

Donna, the manager of the bar from “Happy Hour” (Ep. 21), has come to Dunder Mifflin–Sabre Scranton (not sure of the correct terminology) to buy some printers, while being constantly hit on by Michael. Despite multiple rejections, Michael continues to try to kiss her. Meanwhile, Sabre is interviewing candidates for its Executive Minority program. Dwight tries to manipulate the system (as usual) and, of course, fails. Finally, the episode comes to an end when Michael and Donna kiss and Kelly receives the spot in the program.

Review –

I have to say, I am a fan of this episode. Maybe it is because I missed The Office for two weeks or because I love seeing Michael find some sort of romance, but, either way, I liked this episode A LOT. My only criticism would be that we’re not seeing enough JAM. This episode was so focused on Michael and Donna that I almost lost the JAM relationship. I did enjoy their combined talking heads, but in general I would have liked to see more from them…they are beautiful after all…

Some positives: There was a good group dynamic with the entire office. Also, I really enjoyed Michael’s triumph at the end. In general, I really liked this episode and would give it an A-.

Steve Carell…Leaving…?

I’m shocked and upset. According to many sources Steve Carell is planning on leaving The Office after his contract expires (after Season 7). You know what, I’m happy he’s going to be in more movies, but please…I’ve already hat to suffer through the loss of the Michael/Holly romance, and this is just too much… Petition to stop him from leaving. Comment if you agree.

Scott’s Tots!!!!

Just a quick post letting everyone that I’m a huge fan of “Scott’s Tots!” Hilarious and includes more of Stanley than any other episode. What an epic win!

Ok, so I know I haven’t updated the site recently. I’ve had some problems. But I’m back, and I’m vowing to pay attention to the site more. I’m going to start posting daily, no matter how stressed I am. Check back more often, there will be new and exciting content soon.
